I’m not super duper anonymous online but I have made an effort to ensure that online searches for my name don’t cause this blog to show up. Because of that I’ve started wondering if posting the same pictures that I have on facebook on my blog is going to make it that much easier to link this blog to me.

I made chocolate chip cookies last night. What I should have done is bake the sugar cookies that I mentioned yesterday but the thought of rolling and cutting (and repeating many times) lost out against mixing and dropping spoonfuls of dough on an ungreased cookie sheet. The result was delicious (but far too sweet) cookies:

I took some over to my siblings before work this morning.

I’ve decided to post more on this blog in an effort to bring this blog back to its former glory (What glory?, you ask? Don’t be mean!). I want to return to the sort of blog entries I used to write: wistful entries and musings on mundane things. I don’t have to be reading a life changing book or working on being a better person or decorating my house before I can blog here. I am paying for the pleasure of having this site up so what I choose to post about is up to me. My other blog was developed to posts on specific topics but this one can be about whatever I like.

Everyone is getting engaged this month. Except me.
