Wow, I don't think our Boxing Day sales are such a big event here. Never heard of people lining up for them. This year, all the sales seemed to happen BEFORE Christmas too – more than other years – so by the time Boxing Day came, you weren't getting any more savings than you would have just a few days earlier!

If any stores did happen to have crowds of people, I doubt they had the organisation to give tickets like this place. Glad you got what you went for.

So, what happens when you've lined up with chair, blankets, scarves etc – and the doors open? Did you organise someone to come get them off you so you could go into the store hands-free, and not lose your place in line? Or do you actually have time to put them in your car and get back, assuming the people around you are nice enough to let you back in your spot?

You are good! I know my butt can't do that. I would rather spend the money….hence why I have no money. :)

My sister and her bf did the same thing though and they got some great stuff. They got a huge tv for a steal and something else (didn't really pay attention) as they love this kind of adventure. For the house they bought, they camped out the night before also from 8pm to wait for the doors to open at 10am. Lucky for them, they got the 2nd house on the lot at an unheard of price for this city right now. Like you, this sister LOVES stuff like that.
