Well, you know what you want, just take things slow. That is my only advise as I remember getting things in excitement and then thinking, ew...I don't like this thing. Also, there is nothing at all wrong with waiting for sales. It is remarkably smart actually. Foor your Christmas tree, try places like Winners. I hate that place but my sister found us gorgeous balls last year for some crazy price of $20 or something for like 60 balls. They are really cute. Just invest the time in exactly what you want instead of getting things just to get them. But, you seem to know this already. Good luck and I look forward to more updates on your home.
