Day 3′s report

November 3, 2009

I’m live from my friends’ livingroom (apostrophe use is correct as they are both my friend and are married to one another). They and another friend are playing a video game while I wait for my (late) dinner to be ready. I’m having curly seasoned fries (baking in the oven) with 6 chicken wings (part of the food that was ordered and eaten earlier by the others). I wish I had ordered more wings.

November has been sunnier than expected so far, but it has been cold too. If the sun comes out every day in November and the snow stays away, November may get off my list of Most Dreary Months in the year (which February and March are included in).

I didn’t bring my laptop to their house because of NaBloPoMo; I always have it with me because this is my home away from home and what do I do at home? Use my laptop, of course!

Can you tell that today is one of those days where I really have nothing to say?

Updated to add: our hostess, Ves, straightened my hair (the trick to using hair straighteners involves using a small comb to coax the hair into submission, apparently!), then at my request took some pictures of me that I may use for dating site profiles (click to make bigger):
