I have all those forms piled up somewhere and they have somewhat expired. I feel the same as you. I don't want to go to a blood test and find out I have something chronic so I'd much rather not know. The thing I've learnt is that if you feel okay the bloods tend to show that; and if you don't the bloods show that. My results are usually used to confirm what I think I'm feeling rather than to show anything nasty. My wife adores chocolate, the only way we've been able to get her to cut down is by not buying it. I've got some chocolate biscuits hidden in the kitchen, when she wants them she has to ask. Then we have a conversation about how many she's had recently, if this is truly something she needs [had a bad day, isn't feeling well etc.] or if it is something she wants.
