I’ve got great hopes for you, Saturday!

March 7, 2009

Today has gotten off to a fabulous start. First off, I woke up before the afternoon, which is always good, and I’m beyond well rested, having slept for almost 12 hours.

Secondly, I prepared a yummy brunch, inspired heavily by my sister’s breakfast:

healthy-brunch

I do not eat bread for some reason: I’m not a fan of sandwiches, so that rules out untoasted bread. I had such a hard time choking down that slice of bread, my first slice in…months, and certainly this year. Those strawberries were so delicious, “summertime delicious” is what I’m calling them. Milk, well I enjoy cereal, but drinking a glass of milk isn’t something I do very often. And eggs? Well I do love my eggs. I’ve started tossing one yolk from every pair of eggs I eat though, because I remember my doctor saying that my cholesterol was ok but it could become a problem. I think she also said something about having a maximum of 2-3 eggs a week too.

Now I’m off to turn on my desktop (which has all my music), blast the music and concentrate on my bedroom. Pictures will be taken but will they ever be shared? Doubtful.

  1. It was widely reported here [in the UK] last month, eggs are okay for you – eat as many as you like.

  2. It's OK – I'll love bread enough for both of us.

  3. I read that article and I'm so happy to know that, Amy! I love eggs and curbing my egg habit has been a real effort. Although I have one of the other risk factors for high cholesterol (obesity) so I should probably still be a bit restrictive.

hehehe Emma! Better bread than copious amounts of candy!
