I was thinking of getting my teeth whitened as well but decided it's not worth the charge… I asked my friend, a dentist, what she thought and she recommended I not do it either. My teeth are not blindingly white which is what I want… but are white enough… I do use on a daily basis, the Crest Vivid White toothpaste… I guess that helps… the key really is not having bad breath or brown teeth

That's so disappointing! And also very surprising because I've seen people who've had their teeth professionally whitened and normally their teeth are blindingly, unnaturally white. I wonder what happened!

Yeah, those home whitening kits do hurt and are messy. It would have been helpful if you took b4 and after pics. Will she redo them at no charge if they dint come out as white as she claimed they would?

That does sound suspicious! :(

Someone I know used a home whitening kit and had terrible tooth pain/sensitivity for weeks afterward! She then found out that this is not all that uncommon (which I was not aware of). So, I'd be cautious about that option.

I am sorry that was so disappointing! Have you tried the whitening kits you can buy at the store, the kind with the strips you affix to your teeth? I hear those actually are pretty good for the money.
