Been reading the book "Getting Things Done". Lots of valid points about procrastination and the mental load that having things undone gives to you. You should read it!

That's a great question, Amy.

My plan is to keep you updated as I go along, perhaps updating the final list with a link to the entry or entries that talk about accomplishing the goal. It would be fabulous if I could strike an item off the list as regularly as weekly but I don't know how that'll go.

We'll see though.

I'm curious about what happens next. I've seen loads of lists of goals but I rarely get to follow the progress through the list.

Will you try and do a new one each week or will you just decide on a handful to accomplish each month?

Good luck with your list - I hope you succeed!

LOL @ buy an ipod and a wii. Everything else seems like really awesome goals though!

Except brushing and flossing twice a day. Does anyone actually do this!? The only way I can even get myself to brush a second time is if I do it when I shower, haha.

Eek! That's quite a lot to accomplish/change in one year!

I think you can do it - just don't be too hard on yourself when challenges arise. :)

I don't know if this will help at all, but one thing I have started doing is flossing and brushing after dinner without waiting until right before bed. By the time I'm headed to bed, I'm usually verrrry tired and that makes it much harder to motivate myself to do all the dental hygiene stuff properly. Doing it even an hour earlier makes it easier. Just a thought!
