My prize

One of my favourite jewelry stores to (window) shop in is Magpie. I’ve window shopped there for over ten years and I’ve told myself that it’s the sort of place I’ll pick a lovely piece of jewelry from when I reach a milestone, like losing 100 pounds…

…or finishing my first 5K!

At first, I wasn’t going to get myself a prize because I had already bought the Superhero necklace, but last Friday I went window shopping with coworkers and I found this pendant almost immediately:

I am always doodling daisy-type flowers so this pendant appealed to me right away. I resisted, and looked around at the rest of the store’s offerings. Then I returned to the pendant and one coworker said I should ask to see it. I did, saw how lovely it was, was told that it was sterling silver and I was sold!

I hope I hit another milestone soon!

    Gorgeous. I love Magpie. I got my charm bracelet and the charm for completing the 1/2 there. Love, love, love that store. (and also, you deserve a prize for all your hard work. I bought myself an iPod shuffle in purple for completing the training and then the charm for completing the walk….)
