Things I find difficult to do

March 20, 2008

  • avoid buying things for the house I may not be able to afford
  • eat half a bag of any candy
  • not buy candy
  • give up sugar
  • go running
  • continue to cheerfully call a friend if I’m the one who always calls them
  • avoid gmail and google reader
  • stay motivated
  • be kind to morning people…in the morning
  • quit my part time job
  • ask for a raise (in general)
  • flirt
  • take risks
  • ask out a guy
  • use less toilet paper
  • not recycle
  • try a new genre of book or movie
  • concentrate on my work (like the blurbs I should be writing instead of this list)
  • stick to things
  • be on time (except when it’s for work and it’s important—both conditions must be met)
  • spend large amounts of money
  • be completely content about being single
  • make a face at the thought of mayonnaise
  • avoid singing along if I know the lyrics (and even if I don’t)
  • laugh quietly
  • give up my dreams of being a pediatrician
  • imagine myself 80lbs lighter
  • commit to wearing a ring or bracelet
  • take my iron pills
  • wake up, no matter how much sleep I’ve had the night before

  1. "be on time (except when it’s for work and it’s important)" Wait, aren't you late for work all the time. Don't you waltz in around 9:30 or 10. We should ask your dad. :)

    Yay, I can comment now!

  2. A personalised email/response coming soon…

    right no I have to run…I'mrunning late and I'm going to miss my flight.

  3. Some of these are things you totally shouldn't do! And I am with you on the not being able to wake up thing. Unless it's noon. Mmm. God I love sleeping late.

  4. Actually, I'm very happy to know that you use too much toilet paper.

    I wish everyone would use too much toilet paper, and it is one thing I would not want people to cut back on for the sake of the environment.

    And, in fact, sometimes I sit around worrying that people do not use enough toilet paper, because most people don't wash their hands for the recommended thirty seconds after every bathroom break.

    And, if they are not washing their hands properly, I at least want them to have used a lot of toilet paper to lessen my risk of coming into contact with anyone else's nast.

  5. this might be pretty long, so sawry

    * avoid buying things for the house I may not be able to afford

    -Been there before, being broke taught me a lesson I never forgot.

    * eat half a bag of any candy

    -You'd need to stop this

    * not buy candy

    -good idea

    * give up sugar

    -another good idea

    * go running

    -Oh I'm in the same both as you, I always seem to find an excuse..Oh the weather is too cold, I'm late for work, my legs /body aches…something.

    * continue to cheerfully call a friend if I’m the one who always calls them

    -It's normal, sometimes it just seems you be the only one person putting effort..then it just dies out when u dont put any.

    * avoid gmail and google reader

    -Do you have my gmail address?

    * stay motivated

    -I think that's a problem everyone has, that's why we should be appreciative of good family/friends, God to help us keep our heads up

    * be kind to morning people…in the morning

    -Dont get it

    * quit my part time job

    -Why do you want to do that?

    * ask for a raise (in general)

    -Is there a real need for money? If no, that explains it.

    * flirt

    -I dont know how to flirt…consciously.

    * take risks

    -Oh me too…I pretty much am satisfied with the status quo of things…taking risks is clearly not my forte…especially when there's a lot at stake to lose.

    * ask out a guy

    -You should ;)

    * use less toilet paper

    -TMI

    * not recycle

    -Save Mother Earth…so sayeth the lord…Chancellor…

    * try a new genre of book or movie

    -Sometimes our preference of art can't be changed coz we want it to, it takes something like a thunderbolt to get you interested in something u might otherwise not have thought you'd be interested in…so yeh.

    * concentrate on my work (like the blurbs I should be writing instead of this list)

    -hi-5!!!…ADD they call it…I call it my mind in a revolutionary spin

    * stick to things

    -Explain a lil further please?

    * be on time (except when it’s for work and it’s important—both conditions must be met)

    -Oh…I was almost late for my flight…it was delayed regardless though…I am a habitual late-goer…since I was 6…I blame it on my genetics

    * spend large amounts of money

    -Why should you?

    * be completely content about being single

    -The desire for a companion is human and without it, there's always a sense of incompleteness…I feel you

    * make a face at the thought of mayonnaise

    -MmMmMm…mayonnaise.

    * avoid singing along if I know the lyrics (and even if I don’t)

    -R E S P E C T! BLAH BLAH BLAH! BLAH! R E S P E C T!

    * laugh quietly

    -I do it…it's called snickering…more for those with evil-ish of minds like I have.

    * give up my dreams of being a pediatrician

    -You feel its too late to achieve this?What limits you really?

    * imagine myself 80lbs lighter

    -Maybe because you are already beautiful the way you are…

    * commit to wearing a ring or bracelet

    -*shudders*

    * take my iron pills

    -Can't relate…I don't do drugs…except they are smoke-able…jk

    * wake up, no matter how much sleep I’ve had the night before

    -Sleep is perhaps the single most best luxury a person could ever have ever…nothing better than sleeping in when its rainy outside…soooo good.

  6. Ah, yummy candy!!! I can't even stop at the whole bag! lol!

    I liked reading this, very frank.

    Take care and best of luck with the 5K race!
