This is the lovely scene that greeted me this morning—lovely fluffy snow. Everywhere. It’s so pretty and if it stayed off the roads and driveways, and landed only on grass and trees, I wouldn’t mind if it was snowy all winter, especially since snowy days are often milder than the days when we are treated to freezing rain or hail. I am not in the habit of checking the weather forecast so I was unprepared for it and had to scramble to find my boots before the bus came or deal with wet socks all day.

I’ve decided to take the night off running outdoors but I will be heading downstairs to meet our treadmill soon. I’m not sure how it will go.
