Fummer sun

June has stampeded its way onto my calendars and it’s all I can do to make each day last 24 hours instead of the 12 it seems to be rather fond of. Every summer I plan to have fun and every summer I do. This season’s fun activities include:
- Camping with friends (unfortunately a scheduling conflict means it won’t be my usual Sandbanks advenure but a smaller group of six will be going camping for the first weekend of August. I’m looking forward to it, mostquitoes and all!).
- Picnics with large groups of boisterous people (I’ll be attending one for sure; the other one is a major scheduling conflict)
- Weddings (I’ll be in one, and attending one)
- Volunteering (I may have mentioned this once or twice)
What have you got on your summer fun list? What should I add to mine?
Duh, you forgot the most important one: BERRY SEASON. Also, you forgot that hopefully this year you can make it to a fire party out in the country (If I have one, that is) and drinking fancy-schmancy blender drinks minus the cute little umbrellas on my back porch at sunset while I serenade you with my guitar. (That is an invite, PS.)
And your birthday, and my birthday, of course.
Because everyone knows that my birthday is the most important day of your summer.
