Hey, I'm sorry I've not been good with the walking either... My life is just too crazy these days to promise I can walk with you...I'm sorry.

But I get what you're feeling. I've been neglecting both my diet and the gym these days as well...

I stay motivated by looking in the mirror and by how my clothes fit. And by thinking of the quote I've told you:

"Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels."

I wish I had a secret motivation to stay fit! Unfortunately, I have been becoming a lump for quite some time now. If you find the secret, please share!

Well, I hate exercise. I've been trying to do things each day that have me out of the house and moving for some period each day. I know you don't have a barn to shovel out, but there are other little things you could do that have tangible results (I hate exercising because I tend to think that there are better things I could do with that time. Plus, when I'm done, I don't SEE anything different).

Perhaps you could plant a garden: Get out the shovel, turn over some sod, dig up some dirt, and plant some things. That way you'll have weeding every few days to make you get outside. The fresh air and Vitamin D will do you wonders, I promise! (I do this more for mental health reasons than anything else. Time in nature is a good thing.)

Also, perhaps you could take over the mowing of the lawn. It needs to be done every four or five days and if you use a push mower, you'll be walking and pushing at the same time.

And, if you get really desperate, you could come over to my house and help me in the barn!

Good luck, Jooms. I seem to be in a lump slump myself, lately, consuming millions of calories worth of Iced Cappuccino and beer. Not to mention chips and pop.

And the occasional vat of fudge. Sigh.
