As I tossed and turned for almost two hours two nights ago before falling asleep, I thought of a number of things, most of them tasks that I’ve been derelict in–emailing, exercising with regularity, the filing of my taxes for 2005.  Thankfully sleep came quickly last night, with none of the hindrances of the night before.

I decided that I’m going to try to use my word of the day in my entry of the day so this means I may go back to posting almost every day once again, without the fear of losing out on a prize or breaking a streak if I don’t.

But I’m not going to tell you the word.  Instead, I shall try to slip it in innocently.  Sadly this cannot always be done.  [Yesterday's word, interlocutor - one who takes part in dialogue or conversation - is a rather bulky word to sneak into an entry though, don't you think?]

At the end of each month [or until we both become bored], whoever has posted the most comments correctly identifying the word of the day will receive a set of marble magnets which can be of any theme or have any words that the winner wishes put on them [the coffers are not very deep chez moi so you'd really be doing it for the love of words].  Won’t you participate?  You can start today [January will be an easy month].
