Why I write – partie deux
November 19, 2006
See Part 1
I write because I’m bored and I want attention, or because my life is boring. Some people say that when my life gets busier, blogging will become less of a priority and this is probably true. I’m glad there are ‘heroes’ out there in the blogging community–moms with full time jobs and children, who blog and seem to do it all. That gives me hope that it can be done and if you love it, you’ll make sure it happens. I’m sure I will be in that group when the time comes.
Practice makes perfect and I’m learning that when it comes to driving, or web design, or scrapbooking, this is very true. And with writing it’s true too. I often read my entries over before posting them, and again once they’re posted to make sure that there are no spelling mistakes. I write because I want to be a better writer. Because of my profession, I’ve become more attuned to the tone of my writing and I try to make my entries more clear too, and I’ve always loved editing so it’s fun to reread an entry and polish it before presenting it.
I think that’s about it for now…I’ll add more reasons as they come to me.
Now I’m off to shop–groceries–and run some errands.

Well I hope that you have a good trip Jummy!
