Just because

You know what is really hard?

Seeing something that has never worked in your life, something that consistently goes wrong (or stays the same which is the same in this case) and telling yourself that it’s not your fault and giving yourself pep talks.  That just because it hasn’t happened doesn’t mean it never will.  And just because it hasn’t happened doesn’t mean that you suck.  And just because it’s never happened doesn’t mean you’re being punished, or you’re ugly or undeserving or screwed up or weird.

Harder still is believing it.
